OSX 10.10 Yosemite Upgrade Checklist

Before you upgrade to Yosemite there are a few things you are going to want to do. First thing you want to do is back up your computer. This will help if anything goes wrong. When an OS X Install fails you will usually lose data, and if you don't then it will be a pain to get it back. If you have a backup you won't have this problem. Then you're going to want to run your software updates. After your updates are done you will be able to download Yosemite from the Mac App Store. The file is about 6GB, so it might take a little while to download. After that you accept the install and it begins.
